What audio formats does this viewer support?

The viewer supports MP3, MP4/M4A, AIFF, WAV, OGG, and FLAC files. Any file containing ID3v1, ID3v2, or equivalent metadata tags will be read.

Is my audio file uploaded to a server?

No. All metadata reading happens entirely in your browser using the jsmediatags JavaScript library. Your audio file never leaves your device.

Can I see the album artwork?

Yes. If the audio file contains an embedded cover image, it will be displayed in the File info panel alongside the other tag fields.

What if no tags are found?

If the file has no embedded ID3 tags, the tool will display the file-level information (name, size, MIME type, last modified date) and a notice that no tags were detected.
